Example includes: Engine Light, Tire Pressure, Oil Change, ABS, Low Fuel & Washer Fluid warning lights.
The Myth of Engine Warning Light
The Engine Warning light or otherwise called Check Engine Light is the most infamous warning system. It’s also called as malfunction indicator light. The check engine light is a general indicator of many types of faults/malfunctions including emission controls, powertrain or any other components of the engine.
The simplest field check would be to check the gas cap of the vehicle. Check if it is tight enough with the click noise on lock up. If the light is still on, take the vehicle to a nearby repair shop for a full diagnostic.
Keep in mind that it's normal for the check engine light to flash when you first start the vehicle. It's only an issue if the light stays on after starting the car.
